and so it begins...again.

anyone interested in snowboarding on saturday, 4th of february, @ blue mountain in collingwood. you can ski too if you want!!! let me know if your interested. i might go after 4--just because it is cheaper after 4---if you have no gears, bring roughly 70-80 bucks, that should cover your lift ticket and rentals for boots and board.

we can have fun on the slopes. see you there. holla back if you are interested.

work is fun. i didnt know that you get money when you work your ass off. hahaha. havin a student is fun but tideous.

serving in SFC is great and i cant ask for any better discussion group. i love people who are eager to learn. and i love learning from other peoples experiences. although my hearts desire is not yet being fulfilled--but i guess it will come in time. sigh. for now, service is great. it brings a certain euphoria that none in this world can provide. i love seeing my friends on fri nights.

family is great. cohesive as it can be. who would have thought that one major issue can bring the family so much closer.

school is great too...amidst of all the lectures and term papers. thats it. hahaha.

my boo is great too...hahahaha. im like "my boo". she has been a great inspiration. she drives me to do the things i thought i could never do. thanks boo. hahaha. its just a matter of time til i see you where i want to see you...

friends are great. i see them every friday. its always fun times with them. i love the laughs. pat and jay are hilarious together. i miss my bes'friend. i miss my ftw friends. im here always for you all.

thank you lord for all that i have....in the end of it all--it goes back to my faith in You.

highlights of day four:

• woke up like i slept for 30 days...although i only got 5 hours of sleep. it felt good sleepin on an actual mattress though. i miss my bed.
• walked around town...tried to do SE (servant evangelism)...a mere act of kindness...i bought flowers and handed it out...but almost every person that i gave it out to...were tourist. so they thought that it was a nice gesture...and that no other cities that they have come to-did what i did. hahaha. and then i explained that im from toronto...and the reason for my acts.  « that is their faces when i started speakin of god and his goodness--well, i shared mainly about my experiences in halifax.
• went to st. mary's to speak to the parish priest about SFC/YFC...just to be noted that they have life teen. but i didn't stop there...noted the womb to tomb ministry...that the activities are year round and not just for the schoolyear...its a great environment to grow in faith and perhaps have faith in action. he gave me their bulletin...and said to just email info. and so i will...
• back to the hostel...went with some peeps to watch 40 yr old virgin...and life after death...just tryin to kill time before i leave for toronto.
• my flight was 3 hours delayed...because of "gusty winds" in toronto...and they had one runway open only in toronto...could u imagine that...one runway to accomodate all the planes. dang!!!
• hearin my girlfriends voice again...brings comfort and a big ass smile in my face.

highlights of day three

• drove towards cape breton...dang!!! best drives i've ever had. water on one side and patches of the beautiful greeneries within the trail. i would love to drive through that area over and over and over and over again. stopped by the beach...took a dip on the -200°C water...and jumped right out. hahaha. mind you---water in the atlantic is a thing of beauty not for swimmin.
• went to a wharf for a whale watching and nature adventure within the water..the boat sailed for almost an hour away from the dock..i thought i was goin to the philippine sea...long and behold, we saw some dinky whales...damn!!! those were so not as dinky as i thought they would be. and some seals...popped their head up and left...saw some dolphins too..but from afar. so i saw what i wanted to see. andre = satisfied. i love the ocean!!! i love the maritimes...i love the creatures that god has created...and so you wonder, how great our god is and brilliant. to have created such creatures.
• went back to the downtown halifax. went to mass...had a great homily! "you are responsible for everything around you". which one are you?!: the one that said no to the lord...or the one that said yes to the lord but yet never did the task. i chose to be the former...cause then he went back and repented and followed.
• walked downtown...entertained by some street entertainment. all malls and stores were closed. just the buskers by the dock and the restaurants were open.
• retreated to the hostel for a well-worth it nap. hahaha. and went to a bar called propeler...local beer...but it was good.

lesson learned: beauty of nature & faith
